What Is a Titanium Strip Coil?
Titanium strips are one of the metal materials made from the coil by slitting.
Titanium is a transition metal with good corrosion resistance, which can be used at high temperatures and has strong oxidation resistance.
The titanium strips are made by the hot rolling process and annealing process. Hot rolling technology makes the material thinner and thinner so that the thickness can be up to 0.025mm ~ 3mm. The material has a bright surface and good performance. The strip has stable performance and good plasticity.
According to the different uses, the market demand is also different.
The Main Grades of titanium strip are Gr1 and Gr2, pure titanium strip has common Specifications:
Thickness: 0.4mm-8mm
Width: 1000-2000mm, Gr1, Gr2 titanium strip can be cut and flattened according to customers' requirements.
It is characterized by low density (4.51KG/m3), high melting point (1660°C), strong corrosion resistance, high specific strength, and good plasticity. Gr2 Titanium Strip Coil manufacturing process is hot rolling and cold rolling, vacuum annealing. The conventional delivery state is M titanium, which means the annealed state. The production standard is ASTM B265 and the HS code is 8108903290
