1. Gr5 titanium alloy Description
Ti6Al4V, the main component of Gr5 Titanium Sheet. Compared with traditional stainless steel and cobalt-based alloys, the use of titanium Gr5 alloy as a biomaterial is increasing due to its lower modulus, superior biocompatibility and enhanced corrosion resistance. These attractive characteristics were the driving force for the early introduction and also the driving force for the recent development of new titanium alloy compositions and orthopedic metastable titanium alloys. The latter has enhanced biocompatibility, reduced elastic modulus, as well as superior strain control and notch fatigue resistance.
Gr5 titanium alloys have the ability to be easily formed and processed, which makes them highly adaptable to manufacturing processes and technologies.
At present, the application of WEST Ti Gr5 Titanium Sheet mainly focuses on industrial applications, such as corrosion-resistant partitions for chemical equipment, thin plates for plate heat exchangers, and corrosion-resistant structural plates for ship engineering, etc. Its application in the latest field is mainly concentrated in the field of consumer electronics. We proceed with Gr5 Titanium Sheet DT and NDT Tests to ensure the Chemistry and Physical properties meet the customer's requirements without defects.
We present the Original MTC (Material Test Certificate), accept PMI (Positive Material Identification) witnessing, and offer PMI machine calibration certificates.
We also accept 3rd party inspections, and we welcome customers to arrange inspections before shipment in our workshop.
