Description

With the characteristic of durable and lightweight, cold-rolling titanium coils are widely used in many applications. In the aerospace industry, titanium materials are used for components like turbine parts and aircraft wings, in aircraft construction where a good strength level and ease of formability is desired. In chemical industries, cold rolling titanium coils are used for vessels, tanks, and heat exchangers, in chemical processes, it can be used in oxidizing media, alkaline media, organic acids and compounds, aqueous salt solutions, and hot gases; in offshore industries, it is fully resistant to corrosion in seawater at temperatures up to 300°C; cold rolling titanium coil Gr1/Gr2 is the most widely used titanium material for industrial applications because of its moderate strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and formability. Compared to the pure titanium coil commercially, Gr2 is weaker than Gr3 but stronger than Gr1 and equally resistant to corrosion. Gr2 offers an excellent balance of moderate strength and reasonable ductility.
