Applications
The highest working temperature where a Molybdenum rod can be used in a vacuum and environment is 1700℃. Molybdenum rods are widely used as heating elements, outgoing lines, and radius rods in high-temperature furnaces. Also, they are used as electrodes and bolts in the smelting industry. Other applications include electric vacuum parts, gaseous tubes, electrode heating in the glass industry, and wall lamp brackets in the lighting industry.

Sintered Molybdenum rods are high-resistant heating elements. It has a high melting point, high purity, and high density. At 1700℃, it is used in a high-temperature oxidized environment. A sintered molybdenum rod is mainly used in molybdenum wire drawing and forging.
Forged molybdenum rods are now widely used as electric heating elements in the lighting industry, electronic industry, and semiconductor industry. Forged molybdenum rods can also be used as lamp support, power tube components, and the base of a silicon rectifier.
