The clad platinum/niobium anode mesh can be easily formed and spot-welded to a titanium current feed strip or wrapped around and spot-welded to a titanium rod to form a superior internal anode.

Platinized Niobium Mesh Anode Features
Platinum-clad niobium mesh surface area capable of carrying current is titanium mesh 4 -5 times, so it is the best choice for high metal plating. The service life is 4-5 times that of platinum titanium mesh, and the carrying current is 4-5 times that of titanium mesh, so the comprehensive performance can save 2.5 times the use cost compared with platinum titanium mesh, nice current distribution, and even thickness.
Platinum-clad niobium mesh is the best electroplating anode cover for the plating of precious metals and high-speed electroplating of metals such as nickel and copper. They are dimensionally stable, maintain a constant and low cell voltage, and will not contaminate the electrolyte. Platinized electroplating anodes are manufactured by bonding platinum to a niobium /columbium base that is better suited for high-voltage applications, such as high-speed plating. The whole surface is coated with platinum.
