Titanium trimetallic pans are made of three layers of metal making them strong and durable - AISI 430 stainless steel on the outside, aluminum in the middle, and titanium on the inner cooking surface, the Zero-Toxic Pan with Lid - is a versatile 24 cm wide cooking pan with flared edges, perfect for steaks, veggies, omelets, French fries and more! The ergonomic stainless steel handle makes the grip secure and won't overheat on hand, the convex stainless steel lid traps steam and boosts capacity. (optional tempered glass Lid available).

How to clean titanium cookware?

Keeping your titanium cookware clean is easy: just remember to rinse the pan under running water and then wash it by hand or in the dishwasher immediately after use.

 

You can use a normal dishwashing detergent and add a few drops of vinegar or even a creamy detergent.

 

If food residue or stains remain, we recommend rubbing with a scouring pad or scouring sponge in concentric movements.

 

We also recommend cooking over moderate heat to prevent food from sticking to the metal (although titanium is naturally non-stick, higher temperatures can cause food to stick to the surface as there is no added non-stick coating).

 

Is titanium cookware non-stick?

Titanium cookware is naturally non-stick thanks to the inner properties of titanium; however, as the surface is free of any non-stick coating or treatment, it cannot match the non-stick properties of PTFE pans.

 

Some tips for cooking with titanium cookware

 

When cooking steaks, burgers, or eggs, heat the pan well over medium heat and only add the food when it is hot.

 

Cook meat on a medium heat and eggs on a low heat.

 

For very lean meat or eggs, grease the surface of the pan with a little oil or butter.

 

Are titanium pans oven-safe?

Yes, titanium cookware is safe to use in the oven up to 600°C (about 1112°F).
